Seabob Jets Make a Splash With Cruise Whitsundays at Whitehaven Beach

  • Written by Alyce Carter

Cruise Whitsundays commenced a new and exciting product offering on all Whitehaven Beach tours.

Known as one of the best beaches in the world, beautiful Whitehaven Beach is famous for its 7km stretch of white sand and is on the bucket list for all travellers.

Now there will be even more with Cruise Whitsundays now offering the Seabob Underwater Jet Experience.

Cruise Whitsundays Chief Executive Officer Nick Hortle said the tour will enhance guest's time at Whitehaven Beach by enabling them to snorkel at ease with Seabob. It's safe, fun, reliable and easy for all ages with the minimum age being 12 years old.

“Seabob is a personalised motorised buoyancy aid, that guests hold onto whilst snorkelling. Guests can now enjoy and explore the beauty of the inner reef to its full capacity. It allows you to play on both the surface and cruise underwater,” Mr Hortle said.

“We are excited to offer Seabob to guests travelling on all Whitehaven tours*. Seabob can be pre-booked on board or at the time of booking.

“Seabob is delighted to form a partnership with Cruise Whitsundays – and provide an exciting new optional activity to Cruise Whitsunday's Whitehaven Beach guests.” said Tony Raftis, Managing Director of Seabob confirming the agreement with a handshake in front of the Seabob display in the Cruise Whitsundays Terminal.

*The Seabob experience is available on all Whitehaven Beach cruises except the Camira Sailing Adventure.
