Singapore Airlines to JETÉ ballet lovers to London

Courtesy of a new partnership between Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) and Singapore Airlines, two lucky ballet lovers will be winging their way to London for a trip of a lifetime, as recipients of one of the biggest prize packages in QPAC's history.

Singapore Airlines is Airline Partner for QPAC's International Series which this year will present a national exclusive season of two productions by Britain's flagship ballet company, The Royal Ballet.

For the first time outside the Royal Opera House, London, The Royal Ballet, regarded as one of the greatest dance companies in the world, will perform the Australian premiere seasons of two works exclusively in Brisbane, Woolf Works and The Winter's Tale in QPAC's Lyric Theatre from 29 June to 9 July 2017.

The partnership with Singapore Airlines is good news not just for QPAC, but for Queensland and New South Wales based ballet fans too. Each Queensland or New South Wales resident who purchases a ticket for The Royal Ballet season up to 31 May 2017 will automatically go in the draw for two return flights to London with Singapore Airlines, seven night's accommodation in London, and two tickets to a performance by The Royal Ballet at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden, the home base for this prestigious ballet company.  The total retail prize value of this prize package is between $6,414 to $7,114 and represents one of the highest value prize packages ever offered by QPAC in its 32-year history.

As Airline Partner for QPAC's International Series, Singapore Airlines will fly 95 dancers and other company members of The Royal Ballet from London to Brisbane for their national exclusive season.

This year Singapore Airlines is celebrating a milestone in its Australian services, marking the 50th Anniversary of its flights from Singapore to Sydney and Perth.

The QPAC International Series is supported by the Queensland Government through Tourism and Events Queensland, Principal Partner, MinterEllison, Major Partner, Treasury Casino & Hotel, Airline Partner, Singapore Airlines, Accommodation Partner, Mantra Group, Champagne Partner, MOËT Chandon and Media Partner, JC Decaux.

The competition runs until 31 May 2017. For full terms and conditions, please go to  https://www.qpac.com.au/trbpromo

To book tickets to The Royal Ballet at QPAC and automatically go in the draw for the trip for two to also see The Royal Ballet in London go to www.qpac.com.au and book your tickets by 31 May 2017.

All residents from Queensland and New South Wales who previously purchased tickets for The Royal Ballet Woolf Works and/or The Winter's Tale are automatically entered into the Win a Trip to London competition. The entry will be under the account name of the person who purchased the ticket/s. All terms and conditions for this competition otherwise apply including the option to opt out of this competition.

Froothie blenders & Juicers

An astonishingly, large part of the Australia population are overweight. Adults and children are often seen walking along with a fat face. While it is becoming socially unacceptable to shame fat people, it is important for people to recognise that being overweight is not normal. Do you ever see an old fat person ? Probably not, because they tend to die early from self inflicted preventable health conditions. As my family doctor said, "We will all die but there is no point in hurrying things along"Losing weight is said to be founded on two principles. The first is "Move more...

Thankfully there’s one way you can get on the road for less – finance.   Why finance when I have savings? New Trends in Sustainable Luxury Travel

Let's take a look at what is next for sustainability in travel, the word that's been all the buzz in recent years. What will make people book their next trip? Will food be the main criteria when choosing where to go? Will adventure, nature and wellness become deciding factors? Will people become conscious of the difference between intelligent and senseless luxury? The United Nations proclaimed 2017 the International Year of Sustainable Tourism for Development. What a great opportunity to spotlight sustainable travel, and in Cayuga's case to give more exposure to sustainable luxury travel. Here are the new trends they have...

To the right, powerful waves crash onto the rocky coastline as cows graze with their calves in the lush green pasture. It truly is what poet Robinson Jeffers has described as the "greatest meeting of land and water in the world." “From hiking along...
