South Sea Island's accommodation

  • Written by Shandelle Battersby

We are very excited to reveal our lovely new accommodation options for overnight guests on South Sea Island – three stylish beachfront bures with modern decor, outdoor bathrooms, ceiling fans and patios with colourful deck chairs.

The location of the three bures, on the western side of Fiji's most popular day trip destination, makes them perfect for enjoying glorious sunsets over Malamala Beach Club and the Mamanuca Islands.

The contemporary bures, which will be available within the Awesome Adventures Fiji programme as well as an 'Island Escape' option, are fitted with very comfortable double beds only. They come with premium latex mattress bedding and towels and a luggage rack and amenities. Their outdoor bathrooms are protected from the elements with a retractable canvas awning and hot water is available 24 hours.

Also new at South Sea Island, just a half-hour from Port Denarau Marina, is 30 minutes of complimentary WiFi for day guests and a new shower and toilet block. Bure and dorm guests receive unlimited WiFi.

The new bures join South Sea Island's existing accommodation offering of 32 dorm beds in 16 twin bunks.

Rates are FJD$295 per bure per night, plus the compulsory Meal Plan of $FJD90 per person per day.

Stays can be booked at www.awesomefiji.com
